Hazards On-Demand Portal - Multi User

Overview

The Hazards On-Demand portal provides online access to the valuable process safety knowledge shared at IChemE’s Hazards conferences. A subscription provides access for 12 months.

Hazards is an annual conference that shares good practice, latest research, lessons learned and emerging challenges in process safety. The presentations delivered at Hazards share a wealth of practical insight from process safety specialists representing industry, regulators and academia.

If you are unable to attend our Hazards conferences in person, a subscription to the Hazards On-Demand portal is the next best thing.

What is included?

• MP4 recordings of the PowerPoint slides with voiceover/video from the authors talking through their presentation
• the full conference papers (where available) that accompany the presentations.

There are currently almost 300 presentations to choose from. All the presentations and papers from our Hazards 34 conference will be added shortly.

What does the content cover?

Hazards conference programmes cover the functional areas that are key to managing and reducing process safety risk effectively – engineering and design, systems and procedures, knowledge and competence, human factors, assurance, safety culture, and environmental protection.

As such, presentations cover a significant number of themes including:

Common themes include lessons learned, sharing good practice, and cross-sector/industry learning. Presentations also consider the emerging challenges and major hazard implications of new technologies and applications eg clean energy and digitalisation.

All technical content is peer-reviewed by a team of volunteers with expertise in process safety. This includes representatives from operating companies, the contracting/consulting sector, regulators, the insurance sector and academia.

How does the subscription work?

A subscription to the portal allows access for 12 months from the date we give you access.

Content is hosted on the iVent platform, a website accessed via a unique log-in. Videos can be viewed on the portal but cannot be downloaded. The conference papers can be downloaded as pdf files.

After your multi-user purchase, we will contact you to ask for your users’ names and email addresses. We will set up each user in the portal and they will each receive an email with a link and unique log-in details.

Please note that access to the portal is set up manually. We aim to respond to multi-user orders on the same day, but this may take up to 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
